Common questions

Answers without the runaround.

For configuration-specific questions, use the support channel attached to your Modeus account.

How should I write the first request?

Name the finished deliverable, the constraints that can change it, the source or tool requirements, and the checks that define done.

Why did Modeus ask for approval?

Actions that publish, purchase, delete, send, change access, or materially affect an external system should remain reviewable. Approval is a control boundary, not a failure to automate.

Why is Modeus asking for more context?

Modeus minimizes context, but it should ask for information that materially changes the output and cannot be safely retrieved from approved files or connected sources.

Can I choose the model?

Where deployment controls allow it, you can set a model preference. Automatic routing is intended to match quality, latency, modality, cost, and control needs to each step.

How do I report a problem clearly?

Include the task, expected behavior, observed behavior, relevant non-sensitive inputs, reproducible steps, browser or environment details, and any error message. Remove credentials and personal data.

Where can I check privacy and legal details?

Read the current Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. Both remain publication drafts until verified legal entity, contact, jurisdiction, and operational details are supplied and reviewed.
