How Modeus works.

Learn how the workspace turns a prompt into task steps, routes each step to an approved AI provider, model, or tool, limits repeated context, and retrieves relevant knowledge from Active Memory.

Quickstart

Give Modeus an outcome, not a conversation topic.

A strong goal names what should be delivered, the constraints that matter, and the standard Modeus should use to verify the result.

How it works

Modeus splits and routes each task.

Each step receives the context it needs, not the full history by default. The router selects an appropriate approved model or tool based on the work, cost, speed, modality, and control requirements. Related verified knowledge can be retrieved from Active Memory.

1. Understand

The goal is converted into explicit deliverables, constraints, dependencies, and acceptance checks.

2. Route

Modeus selects the appropriate model, tool, or workflow for each part instead of forcing one system to do everything.

3. Execute

Independent workstreams run in parallel when useful, while dependent work stays ordered.

4. Verify

Sources are opened, files are read back, code is exercised, and generated artifacts are inspected before completion is reported.

What we do

Modeus is an AI workspace and router.

You provide a prompt, files, or a workflow. Modeus plans the steps, routes them across configured providers, models, and tools, keeps context focused, verifies the result where possible, and stores approved knowledge for relevant future work.

Modeus is designed to complete approved digital work. It does not remove the need for human judgment in legal, financial, medical, security-sensitive, or otherwise high-impact decisions.

Web app

The web app is the central workspace for goals, files, progress, approvals, and finished deliverables. Each task keeps its own relevant context so unrelated history does not dilute the work.

  • Keep source material and final output connected.

Feature 02

AI design

Turn product direction into responsive interfaces, design systems, and implementation-ready artifacts. Modeus can inspect references, preserve brand constraints, build the experience, and verify it in a real browser.

Feature 03

AI slides

Build a narrative before decorating slides. Modeus structures the argument, reduces repetition, creates the deck, and checks hierarchy, legibility, and consistency across the presentation.

Feature 04

AI reports

Research across public or supplied sources, track provenance, resolve contradictions, and produce a readable report with a clear recommendation. Source requirements can be defined at the start of the task.

Feature 05

AI image generator

Create visual directions, generate candidates, and refine selected images without disconnecting them from the surrounding campaign, document, or product task. Availability depends on the configured image provider.

Feature 06

AI music generator

Develop song concepts, lyrics, arrangement directions, and generation prompts as one connected workflow. Audio-generation availability depends on your configured provider and its licensing terms.

Feature 07

Modeus Browser Operator

With your permission, Modeus can read and interact with approved pages in your browser. It can navigate, gather information, fill forms, and carry out reviewable actions using your current session.

Stay in control: use Browser Operator only on sites and accounts you are authorized to access. Review sensitive submissions and keep financial, publishing, deletion, and account actions behind explicit approval.

Feature 08

Wild research

Wild research divides a broad question into independent evidence tracks, runs them in parallel, and synthesizes the results against one shared standard. It is useful for markets, literature, large rosters, due diligence, and source-heavy decisions.

  • Define geographic, source, or record-count quotas.
  • Collect public evidence in parallel.
  • Deduplicate and validate records.
  • Return source URLs, coverage notes, and usable files.

Models

Providers supply models. Modeus routes the work.

A provider is the company or infrastructure serving an AI model. A language model is the reasoning and generation system itself. Products such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Grok may expose different model families through their interfaces or APIs.

Model and provider availability depends on deployment, plan, region, and configuration. Naming examples here explain the category and do not claim every provider is enabled by default.

Common questions

Why did Modeus ask for approval?

Actions that publish, purchase, delete, send, or materially change external data should remain reviewable. Approval is a safety boundary, not a failure to automate.

Why does a task need more context?

Modeus minimizes context, but it will ask for information that materially changes the output and cannot be safely retrieved from your files or connected sources.

Can I choose a model?

Where model controls are available, you can set a preference. Automatic routing is intended to choose the strongest practical option for each step.

How do I report a problem?

Use the support channel associated with your Modeus account. Include the task, expected behavior, observed behavior, and any non-sensitive reproduction details.
