Modeus/Features/Browser Operator

Complete browser tasks with permission.

Modeus uses an approved AI model to understand the task and browser tools to complete permitted navigation, collection, and form-preparation steps. It keeps the page scope visible and stops before actions that require review.

A

Work in the authenticated context

Use the pages and sessions you explicitly approve instead of moving credentials into a separate workflow.

B

Visible browser actions

Navigation, extraction, form filling, and review states stay connected to the original goal.

C

Boundaries before speed

Publishing, purchasing, deletion, account changes, and other sensitive actions can require confirmation.

How it works

Browser execution with a clear control model.

Authorization, scope, and review are defined before the browser starts changing anything.

01

Approve the scope

Identify the sites, account context, allowed actions, exclusions, and required checkpoints.

02

Inspect before acting

Modeus reads the current page state and confirms that the expected record, form, or workflow is present.

03

Complete approved steps

Routine navigation, collection, and form preparation proceed while unresolved items remain visible.

04

Review sensitive actions

The final state is shown before an action that sends, publishes, purchases, deletes, or changes access.

How Modeus runs browser work

Reasoning and browser actions use separate routes.

An approved AI model interprets the task; browser tools perform the permitted steps. The workspace keeps context focused and records what was read or changed.

Common pattern

A chat answer with no browser state

  • Manual copying between tabs and documents
  • Credentials moved into unnecessary systems
  • Automations that assume the page has not changed
  • Irreversible actions hidden inside a batch
Modeus approach

Routed reasoning plus browser tools

  • The authorized browser session stays in context
  • Page state is inspected before each meaningful action
  • Progress and unresolved fields remain visible
  • Sensitive boundaries are explicit and reviewable

Where it fits

Work with a clear
definition of done.

Modeus is strongest when the result, constraints, and review standard are explicit.

01

Research and collection

Gather public or authorized information from approved pages into a structured deliverable.

02

Form preparation

Populate repeatable workflows while keeping missing information and final submission review visible.

03

Operational updates

Carry approved information across tools and document what changed for the responsible owner.

Questions

What teams ask first.

Capabilities depend on your Modeus deployment, connected providers, permissions, and the tools approved for the task.

Can Browser Operator access any site?

Use it only on sites, pages, and accounts you are authorized to access. Site controls, anti-automation measures, and organizational policies still apply.

Does Modeus store my browser password?

The intended model is to use the approved browser session rather than ask you to place credentials in a task. Actual deployment behavior must be confirmed against your configuration and privacy policy.

Which actions should require review?

At minimum, purchases, publishing, deletion, messages, account or permission changes, financial submissions, and other material external changes should remain reviewable.

What happens if a page changes?

Modeus should inspect current page state rather than rely only on recorded coordinates. Unexpected layouts, fields, or warnings should stop or return the work for review.
